Tim Gunning was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer in August 2009. In this role, he is responsible for all of Ord Minnett's businesses throughout Australia. Tim sits on the Board of Ord Minnett and Chairs the Management Committee.

Tim has over 16 years experience in the financial planning and funds management industry. Prior to joining Ord Minnett, Tim was General Manager, Commonwealth Financial Planning at the Commonwealth Bank, where Tim had overall responsibility for Commonwealth Financial Planning's 700 advisers and sat on Colonial First State's Executive Committee. Prior to joining CBA, Tim was General Manager of Securitor and PACT dealerships at Asgard Wealth Solutions and has held a number of senior positions within Deutsche Private Bank.

Tim is a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and has sat on FINSIA's financial services sector Advisory Committee. Tim has also participated on the Financial Planning Association (FPA) Legal and Regulations Committee. Tim has also chaired the FPA's Superannuation Taskforce.

Robert is the CFO of Ord Minnett, having joined Dicksons Limited, a company that merged with Ord Minnett, in February 2002. Prior to this Robert was employed by JPMorgan from 1989 through to 2001 in key finance and operational roles. Robert was the COO and CFO of JPMorgan Australia from 1998 until the merger with Chase Manhattan Bank in 2000.

Robert is a Chartered Accountant and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales since 1986. He holds a BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Statistics from Southampton University, UK.

Michael Hughes is the Head of Ord Minnett Corporate Finance at Ord Minnett encompassing all syndicated and originated equity capital market transactions. Michael returned to Ord Minnett in June 2010, having begun his career in a trainee role over twenty years earlier.

Michael returned to Ord Minnett from AMP Capital Investors where he was the Senior Portfolio Manager of the Small Companies Fund. Michael had previously been the Senior Portfolio Manager of AMP Capital's Value Plus Fund. Prior to joining AMP Capital Investors, Michael was an Analyst with 452 Capital and an Associate Director within the Analyst team at Westpac Corporate Banking, where he worked on the origination and co-ordination of debt and equity transactions.

Michael has also served as the Company Secretary and Treasurer of Ozemail Limited until it was acquired by Worldcom in 1999 and has also been an Associate Director with Turnbull & Partners, a private investment bank involved in a wide range of advisory and investment transactions, both domestically and internationally.

Michael has an Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Arts from Sydney University.

Philip joined Ord Minnett in January 2010 as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Ord Minnett, Philip was at the Commonwealth Bank where he was the Head of Wholesale Administration for the Colonial First State business. Philip has also held senior positions at Citibank, NCR and GEC.

Philip is responsible for running Ord Minnett's Portfolio Administration and Reporting Services (PARS) business, Funds Management administration, Ord Minnett IT teams and all related vendor relationships. Philip holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma of Management from Deakin University.

Stephen joined Ord Minnett in December 2009 as the Head of Research. Stephen is responsible for running both the Investment Strategy team and Ord Minnett's team of specialist research Analysts covering Australian equities. Stephen has 14 years experience as an investment professional on both the buy and sell-side across a number of markets including Australia, London and New York.

Prior to joining Ord Minnett, Stephen was the Head of Research at LINWAR Securities, having joined LINWAR Securities from Deutsche Asset Management where he worked for eleven years in a variety of senior portfolio management roles. Stephen has a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance (FINSIA).

George Deva was appointed to the role of Head of Platform, Product and Sales in May 2010 and is responsible for the growth and ongoing development of Ord Minnett's Platform (PARS) and associated products including Model Portfolios, cash solutions, Margin Lending and Structured Products. George joined Ord Minnett in 2005 and ran the platform business as National Product Manager for a number of years prior to transitioning to his current expanded role. 

George has over 14 years experience as a Financial Services professional and has held management posts across Product, Operations and Business Development areas with a number of organisations. Prior to joining Ord Minnett, George worked for Boston-based bank, State Street, for 7 years in a variety of senior management roles. George holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Arts from Macquarie University.

Karl was CEO and Managing Director of Ord Minnett Ltd from 2004 until his appointment as Executive Chairman in 2009. Since joining Ord Minnett in 1990, Karl has managed all aspects of the business including stockbroking, funds management and corporate finance.

Karl holds a Commerce Degree and Diplomas from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Stockbrokers Association of Australia and Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Karl is a Master Member and is on the Board of the Stockbrokers Association of Australia, is a Director and Governor of Notre Dame University of Australia, a Board Member of the Sydney Archdiocese Finance and Development Fund Committees, a Director of the RACQ, a Board Member of the Queensland Theatre Company and Nudgee Junior College, and the Patron of Bravehearts.
