Our Associate Adviser Programme is for people looking to begin a career as a Private Client Adviser and who want the rigour of an educational program to develop their skills with the security of a long-established national firm.

The Associate Adviser Programme ensures that those with talent and commitment will thrive whilst being appropriately supported by a comprehensive education and development program.

What formal qualifications will I need?

You will need a University degree and if you haven't already done so, you will need to undertake an SAA Professional Diploma in Stockbroking.

What is the remuneration?

An innovative tiered guaranteed salary plus commission for 18 months. You then transfer to commission only.

Is this for me?

This option is for Advisers with an established client base who realise the benefits of the stable and resourceful environment offered by Ord Minnett, allowing them to provide the very best advice to their clients.

What qualifications are required?

You will need to be RG146 accredited. To provide Superannuation advice you will need the requisite Superannuation modules from the Stockbrokers Association of Australia, or equivalent. If you wish to provide advice on derivatives you will need ADA accreditation through Kaplan International.

To join as a Corporate Authorised Representative, you will have an Advisory team or practice with two or more Financial Advisers who want to capitalise on the benefits associated with owning and managing a business today.

What do I need to qualify?

There are  a number of criteria. Two are set in stone;

• 5 years' experience operating as a team
• A threshold revenue level for the team and for each Adviser.

What is the remuneration?

Specific terms are negotiated with the Corporate Authorised Representative.
