Administration Services Officer - Sydney

Working as part of the Product Administration team the focus this role is client services, portfolio administration and reporting, fixed income administration and international settlements.  The ideal candidate is someone who has strong attention to detail, customer service and administration skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Reporting to the Team Leader – Product Administration primary responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • Reconstruction of historical cost base information for all assets at inception for the purpose of Capital Gains Tax reporting
  • Basic understanding of Corporate Actions and their effect on cost history
  • Processing of fixed income (new and rolling term deposit) instructions including the completion of applications and arrange finding
  • Execute settlement for international trades
  • Communicating with the team leader to ensure all queries/ issues raised are resolved in a timely manner
  • Data entry and system record maintenance

Required experience / knowledge:

  • Previous work experience within financial services
  • Understanding of portfolio administration and reporting, fixed income administration and international settlements
  • High level of attention to detail and quality of work
  • Confident and a clear communicator both verbally and written
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise duties, meet agreed deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word)
