GQG Partners Inc (GQG) - Strong investment appeal

October 17, 2024

GQG Partners is a global boutique asset management company. It manages equity portfolios for investors, including insurance funds, pension/superannuation funds, sovereign wealth funds, ultra-high net worth investors, financial advisers, wealth management administration platforms, private banks, and other discretionary wealth managers. The company was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The company’s September update showed group net fund inflows of US$2.2 billion ($3.3 billion) over the month, with an ongoing positive mix change due to wholesale inflows and institutional outflows. Group funds under management at 30 September, was US$161.6 billion, up 0.5% over the month and 3.9% over the quarter.

Post the update, we have upgraded our earnings forecasts by3–6% given the better-than-expected net fund flows and to account for the anticipated increase in management fee margin as a result of the improvement in product mix.

GQG’s investment appeal comprises undemanding valuation multiples, a solid growth outlook for earnings, a strong financial position, and excellent performance across its four key investment strategies.
