SPC Global Holdings (SPG) – Iconic brand returns to the boards

April 14, 2025

SPC Global Holdings produces canned and packaged fruit, tomatoes, baked beans, and spaghetti products, along with fruit juice and dairy products in its latest corporate incarnation. The company was founded in 1918 and is based in Essendon Fields in north-west Melbourne.

After a chequered history under the ownership Coca-Cola Amatil, SPC Global Holdings has reinvented itself in the past five years and the recent mergers with The Original Juice Company (OJC), Nature One Dairy and Natural Ingredients positions the high profile SPC brand for significant growth.

The relisted company currently finds itself in a position where many are relatively unaware of the components, quality and prospects of the newly merged businesses. In Ord Minnett’s view, however, this presents a buying opportunity for investors willing to understand the new offerings and business strategy, including the benefits of a multi-brand food group and its sales pipeline. We thus initiate coverage on SPC Global with a Buy recommendation and a $0.90Target Price.
