Hayden began his career in structured debt financing where he was a Partner at Balmain Corporation. Following this, he worked as an Equities Investment Adviser for seven years with Bell Potter Securities, providing investment advice to private and institutional investors.
In 2017, Hayden joined Ord Minnett as a Private Wealth Adviser, where he constructs and manages portfolios for a select group of high net worth families. He is passionate about investment markets and thrives on identifying mispriced opportunities, particularly in small capitalisation companies.
A strong advocate of high conviction investing, Hayden believes in coinvesting alongside clients and often invests in the same opportunities he recommends. He is a firm believer in founder-led businesses and draws inspiration from the Warren Buffett school of investing. He regularly attends the Berkshire Hathaway AGM in Omaha, as well as global value and quality investment seminars, in pursuit of a lasting investment edge.
Outside of work, Hayden is a proud father of three children and enjoys the Gold Coast beach lifestyle.
