New appointment strengthens Ord Minnett’s Board

Ord Minnett has appointed a former Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) interim CEO to its Board to further bolster its regulatory and compliance capabilities.
Greg Yanco joins the Board as a Non-Executive Director and brings more than 35 years’ experience in financial and capital markets, regulatory oversight and strategic leadership, including more than 16 years at ASIC and 21 years at Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
“Greg is one of Australia’s most respected financial markets regulators, and his deep understanding of market structure, governance, risk management and regulatory expectations will be invaluable to Ord Minnett,” said Karl Morris, Ord Minnett Chief Executive Officer.
“His leadership experience at ASIC, including his time as interim CEO, gives him unique insight into the evolving regulatory landscape. Greg’s appointment strengthens our ability to continue building a culture of robust compliance and risk oversight across the business.”
During his time at ASIC, Mr Yanco led major reforms in financial market supervision, market infrastructure oversight, professional standards, cyber resilience and sustainable finance. His work contributed significantly to the efficiency, stability and transparency of Australia’s capital markets.
Mr Yanco said he was pleased to be joining Ord Minnett at a pivotal time for the industry.

Mr Yanco attended his first Board meeting on 19 February 2026.
Mr Yanco is a Certified Practicing Accountant (Fellow – CPA Australia), a Master of the Stockbrokers and Investment Advisers Association, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Senior Executive Fellow of the Harvard Kennedy School.
