What is changing

Ord Minnett is introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for the Client Portal. MFA adds an extra verification step when you sign in, helping to protect your account and personal information.

What you need to do

Watch the setup video and follow the prompts when you next sign in to the Client Portal. Once MFA is set up, use the approved authentication method to confirm your identity when prompted.

Before you start

  • Have access to the device and authentication method shown in the setup video. Make sure you can access the contact details currently recorded for your Client Portal account.
  • Have your mobile phone with you to set up multi-factor authentication.
  • Have installed an authenticator app on your phone such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Auth0 Guardian, or any other similar authenticator app of your choice.
  • Have your username and password ready to sign in.
  • Can access your email recorded for your Client Portal account.

What should I do if I do not receive a code or prompt?

Check that your authenticator app is available and try again. If the issue continues, contact support

What if I change my phone or cannot access my authentication method?

Contact support for assistance with restoring access to your account.
